ADRIA EX Jakljan

It is an ADRIA cargo ship (ex-JAKLJAN), built in Trieste in 1924 for the Dubrovnik steamboat, 40 m long, 7.9 m wide, 3.3 m high. , sank in 1944 in a strong storm near Mali Luka on the island of Krk.

The ship sailed between the two wars as part of Dubrovnik Navigation d.d. and in war it was requisitioned for war purposes.

The ship lies in an upright position and in a direction perpendicular to the shore, lying at a depth of 39 to 42 m, about 200 m away from the coast of the island of Krk.
