SCR DIVING COURSES
The purpose of SCR Horizon is to help:
– OC diver to exceed rebreather dive limit
– Recreational divers to exceed the technical dive limit in a super safe way.
They can be trained for recreational dives up to 40m or TEC dives with graduated decompression.
Mares Horizon offers an intelligent dual scrubber system and dual gas diving for accelerated decompression.
SCR DIVING
This programme provides the knowledge and experience to independently plan and execute dives without decompression to a maximum depth of 30 m with an equally qualified dive buddy.
Based on the Horizon SCR unit, specific SCR diving skills are trained using familiar SSI training techniques.
Requirements:24 logged dives, Enriched Air Nitrox 40 and Deep Diving certification.
Duration: 4 days
SCR EXTENDED RANGE
This programme provides the knowledge and experience to independently plan and conduct dives with a maximum of 25 minutes accelerated decompression to a maximum depth of 40 m with an equally qualified dive buddy using the Horizon SCR unit.
Special SCR diving skills are trained using the well-known SSI training techniques.
Requirements:24 logged dives, Enriched Air Nitrox 40 and Deep Diving certification.
Duration: 5 days
SCR UPGRADES
Students upgrading from SCR Diving certification to SCR Extended Range, or from CCR Diving certification to SCR Extended Range, must successfully complete the following areas:
– 1 Pool session
– 2 open water
– Theory presentation
Requirements: 24 SCR or CCR logged dives.
Duration: 2-3 days
